Design: How the Tribes Connect
Seven factions of design are presented as filters between the foundations of design and the larger world.
Message
The various factions of design rely on common underlying concepts, but interpret them differently.
Audience
Our group, our classmates, designers in these fields, and those who have an interest in learning more about design.
Visualization
A simple, geometric arrangement is used as a tool for the team to understand data collected and find relations within data.

Process
Given the assignment of making an island, we started by spider diagramming everything related to an island ever. This of course included Simon and Garfunkel's lyrics, "I am a rock, I am an island," as well as ancient mythical island of Atlantis and man-made floating islands.

Next, we narrowed a bit and focused on design as an island. We affinity diagrammed everything we could think of that was related to design.
